When you activate the setting to take a picture when an employee clocks on a fixed terminal, a biometric analysis is performed. This analysis allows you to get the "Dubious photo" warning when looking at your employees Time Sheets.

In order to comply with applicable laws and our Terms of Service, you have to get your employees consent to perform a biometric analysis from their photos.

How to obtain your employee's consent to perform a biometric analysis

Simply follow these steps to get their consent:

  1. In Atlas Scheduling, select Settings from the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Click on Attendance.

  3. Make sure that both Take a photo at clock-in and Perform biometric analysis at employee clock-in via the Time Clock app is enabled.

IMPORTANT: If you are enabling this, you will be presented with this warning:

What should be done when an employee does not give their consent?

Refer to this article on how to adjust an employee's individual Time and Attendance settings, and how to disable the Biometry.

IMPORTANT: Overriding this setting does not mean a photo will not be taken when the employee punches in or out on a terminal - A picture will be taken, but there will be no biometric analysis, therefore no "Dubious photos" warning will be seen in the employee's Timesheet.
