It can happen that one or more employees are not visible in your schedule. This article gives you the most common reasons and how to correct the situation.
1. Filters
Most of the time, you don't see an employee because you have filters activated on the left-hand side of your schedule. So the first thing to validate is all the active filters on the left. IMPORTANT: Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the list.
EXAMPLE: Charles Kirkland has recently been hired to head up the Accounts Receivable team. Under Schedule, when we apply the filter for Accounts Receivable it shows no results - This is because Charles has not had the appropriate position added to their profile in Atlas Scheduling.
If we deselect the filter for Accounts Receivable now, Charles will now be visible. We can later adjust Charles' profile with the correct position so that this filter will work in the future.
The same principle for Location - If you have employees associated with one location, these will not display if you select another. You can validate both the positions and locations assigned to your employees by going to their profile and selecting the Roles and positions option.
2. Employee profile is not active
Your employee may have been set as as being on Leave, or updated to say that their employment has ended. To check this, follow these steps:
Go back to the Main Atlas platform. From here, go to Employees > Manage from the left-hand navigation bar.
Change the "All status" filter to either On leave or Former employee.
If your employee shows in either list and you wish to adjust this, click the eye icon to view their profile, and navigate to the Administration tab. You can withdraw the Leave or Dismissal from here.
3. Viewing the wrong week
When an employee is created Atlas, they will not be visible for the dates preceding their hiring date. All you have to do is select the right week, and the employee will be visible.
EXAMPLE: If an employee has a hire date of April 15th, for example, they will not be visible in the week of April 7th to 13th.
To validate your employee's hire date, return to the main Atlas page and select Employees > Manage. Select the employee by using the eye icon, then navigate to the Job tab.
4. Employee hidden from scheduler
A setting allows you to hide employees from the scheduler. Make sure that this setting is not activated in your employee's profile under the Settings section.
6. Supervisors and Managers
If you have validated all this information and still don't see the employee, go to the HR > Employees tab and validate that you do see the employee in the list.
If this is not the case, you are not the location manager or position supervisor. Contact an account Administrator who can adjust permissions.
