Hierarchy
Notifications make people in your organization aware of things they need to act on. The notifications that each user receives are controlled by the hierarchy of roles in Atlas:
Administrator
Manager
Supervisor
Employee
Note: The roles in your organization are accessible in the Employee menu.
System
Notifications are only sent one level up to prevent notification spam.
If the level above doesn't exist in your organization, the notification skips that levels and goes above (for example, if there's no supervisor, it goes to the manager).
Examples
Example 1: You have two admins and 25 employees.
The two admins receive all notifications.
Example 2: You have one admin, one manager, and 25 employees.
The manager receives all notifications related to the 25 employees.
The admin receives all notifications related to the manager.
Example 3: You have multiple locations.
You have one admin and two locations (Montreal and Sherbrooke).
Montreal has one manager and 10 employees.
Sherbrooke has no manager and 15 employees.
