When you browse the internet, your browser (such as Chrome) stores information from websites in its cache and cookies. The cache saves parts of web pages, like images, to help them load faster on future visits. Cookies store data such as your site preferences and login status. Over time, this stored data can cause problems, including loading errors or formatting issues on websites. Clearing your cache and cookies removes this saved information, which can help resolve these problems and improve your browsing experience.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Chrome and click the three dots in the top right corner of the browser window.

  2. Select History, then click History again from the menu that appears.

  3. On the left, click Delete browsing data.

  4. In the pop-up window, tick the boxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  5. Click Delete data to delete the selected items.

  6. Finally, refresh your Atlas tab and log back in.
