Atlas works best when users log in with their e-mail address. If you originally set up a user with a username and password, you can easily update this to use their e-mail address instead.

E-mail logins unlock more features in Atlas.
Users can easily reset their passwords.
Communication and notifications are streamlined.
Steps to change a username to an e-mail address
Go to the users section
Navigate to: Dashboard > Users
Edit the user’s details
Click Actions (...) next to the user.
Select View or edit user details.
Enable e-mail login
Turn on the Has e-mail option.
Enter the user’s e-mail address in the provided field.
Update the user
Click Save changes to save your changes.
Send a password reset
Use the Actions (...) button again
Select View or edit user details.
Select Reset password.
The user will receive an e-mail to set a new password and can now log in with their e-mail address.
