Uploading multiple employees to Atlas is quick and straightforward. The steps below will guide you through how to fill in the spreadsheet and upload it to Atlas.
Important: Granting an employee access to Atlas automatically creates an associated user profile. If you've provided an e-mail address for an employee, then an activation e-mail will be sent to them to have them create their password. We recommend that you inform your employees they will be receiving these e-mails, and that you upload at an appropriate time to ensure they can sign in.
1. Go to the employee management section
From the Dashboard, click on Employees > Manage from the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Start the import process
Click the Actions icon (...) button in the top-right corner.
Select Import employee data.
3. Download and complete the template
Click the Download template button, which gives you the template with instructions.
Enter the information of the employees you wish to upload into the template. The following information is required at minimum:
First name
Surname
Can log in? (Yes/No)
Has e-mail (Yes/No)
E-mail OR Username (Depending on answer to previous field)
Display language
Profile
Job title
Location
Official document language
Important: Additional columns may show as required, depending on your membership and services.
Save the edited file on your computer.
4. Import your data
Navigating back to the Import employees page, click the Browse button, and select your saved file.
Click Import to upload the file to your account.
5. Finalize your upload
On the next page, review the details of the employees to be uploaded. If there are missing details or mistakes, Atlas will highlight them in red for you to fix.
Once all required information is added and all employees are in white, click the Add button to complete the process.
