What is multi-company access?

Understanding how a single login can give access to more than one company in Atlas

Multi-company access allows a single user to belong to more than one company in Atlas using the same login. Rather than creating separate accounts, Atlas links access together, meaning the user logs in once and can switch between all their companies within the platform.

This is useful when the same person needs to work across more than one company: for example, a regional manager overseeing multiple sites, a consultant working across different client entities, or a shared service operative supporting more than one company.

Atlas identifies multi-company users by their e-mail address. When the same e-mail address is used across more than one company, Atlas automatically treats that person as a multi-company user.

Note: Only users with an e-mail address can be set up as multi-company users. Users without an e-mail address can belong to one company only.
