Why use the recurrence feature?
The recurrence feature allows you to create shifts that will be repeated automatically moving forward similar to apps like Google calendar.
Here are some examples where you may want to use the feature:
The employee schedule is the same every week.
You have a rotation in your schedules, every two weeks, every 3 weeks etc.
Setting a Recurrence
Create a new shift or select an existing one
Enter all the information necessary if you are creating a new shift
Click the Recurrence tab
Options
1. Repeats
You must first select whether the shift repeats on a weekly or monthly basis.
2. Frequency, Days and End
Once you've selected the basis, you can select:
The weekly/monthly Repeat frequency - adjust the value according to the desired frequency. EXAMPLE: if the shift is to be repeated every 2 weeks, enter 2 in the Repeat frequency field.
Choose the Days of the week where this shift will apply
Set when the recurrence must End - After a set number of shifts, on a specific date or if it recurs indefinitely.
3. Summary
You can view a summary of the recurring shift you are about to create before saving on the right hand side.
