Would you like to make a change to all your shifts on the schedule or to several specific shifts at the same time? Here's how to do it.

Change the start or end time for several shifts

  1. In Schedule, use the Week view of the schedule. You can also use the Month view if you're changing more than a week's worth of shifts.

  2. Click on the Select button in the top-right corner.

  3. Choose to modify specific shifts or select all shifts outside of recurrences. You can also select by position, by employee, by day, and so on.

  4. Click the Edit button, and select what actions you wish to perform.

  5. Once you are happy with the changes, click Save, then Publish to make the changes visible.

Important: If you wish to modify all the shifts of a recurring shift, click here for the full article.

Edit actions

The actions below are also possible when you want to edit several shifts at the same time:

  • Convert: Convert a shift to leave or vice versa.

  • Move: Move the shift within the day.

  • Edit length: Modify the start or end of the shift.

  • Edit locations: Modify the branch assigned to the shift.

  • Edit positions: Modify the position or sub-position.

  • Edit notes: Add notes or instructions for the employee.

  • Edit resources: Add or remove resources.

  • Edit breaks: Add a break, remove all breaks, or delete automatic breaks.

  • Edit tasks: Delete incomplete tasks or add tasks.

Modifying information on a single shift

If you would rather modify a shift individually, then you can. To modify a single shift at a time:

  1. Click the shift.

  2. Modify the desired information.

  3. Click the Modify button, then Publish the modifications.

If you would rather modify certain information in the individual profiles of all your employees and not in the shifts, consult this article on bulk actions.
