How do I add or modify my availability on the website?

Sending your preferences and unavailability through Atlas scheduling

Written by Charles Vallières

Before proceeding, here are three important details you must know:

  • By default, Atlas scheduling assumes that you're always available to work. The availability feature allows you to indicate only your preferences (green) and unavailability (red).

  • Your availability can either be recurring or punctual. You just have to make sure to select the right frequency.

  • If you aren't available on a specific date, submitting a punctual time off request is much easier than changing your availability. To learn how to submit a time off request, refer to this article.

Once you've logged into your Atlas profile, select Atlas scheduling from the left-hand navigation bar. Then from the Overview page, simply click on the Add my availability box.

On the My availability page, you can make the following selections:

  1. The week that you wish to set your availability for.

  2. The days on which you'll be unavailable:

    • You can set yourself as unavailable all day or between set hours.

    • You can also apply this unavailability to other days of this week.

  3. Set the recurrence for this unavailability, and whether this will end on a set date.

  4. The minimum and maximum hours you are available this week.

Your availability request will be submitted to your manager for approval. A notification will be sent to you as soon as your request has been assessed.
