It may happen that you try to enter your new password, but your browser automatically adds the previous one. Here's how to remove the automatic entry and enter your information manually.

Google Chrome

  1. In the top right-hand corner, click on the 3 small vertical dots.

  2. Select Passwords and autofill.

  3. On the left, select Google Password Manager.

  4. You'll be in the Passwords tab, click on Settings in the left-hand menu.

  5. Disable Offer to save passwords by unchecking this statement.

Firefox

  1. In the top-right corner of Firefox, click the three lines atop one another.

  2. Select Settings from the menu.

  3. From the left-hand menu, select Privacy & Security.

  4. Scroll down to Passwords.

  5. Disable Ask to save passwords. This will automatically disable Fill usernames and passwords automatically.

Microsoft Edge

  1. In the top-right corner, click on the 3 small horizontal dots.

  2. Select Passwords from the menu.

  3. Under Microsoft Password Manager, select More settings.

  4. Disable the Autofill passwords and passkeys option. You can also disable Ask to save password and passkeys should you choose to.
