Managing time banks for your employees.

You can manage your employees' overtime bank in Atlas Scheduling. This allows you to accumulate hours worked so that they can be used later to fill in timesheets during a vacation or to cover an early departure, for example.

Your employees will also be able to view their balance in the mobile app.

To manage the accumulated time bank:

  1. Go to the Settings from the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Click on the Time off submenu.

  3. Under Types and banks, click on any of the Active Banks to edit them.

You will then have access to the following options:

  1. Update the name and associated icon

  2. Uncheck the Paid option (Generally not recommended if you are using this leave for managing things like overtime banked.)

  3. Uncheck the “Track in a time bank” option (Generally not recommended if you are using this leave for managing things like overtime banked.)

  4. Adjust the Reference year (The date on which the year starts for this time off type and on which its balances are reset.)

  5. Adjust the Multiplier

    • EXAMPLE: If you bank Overtime at time and a half, enter a multiplier of 1.5. This way, if you bank 5 hours worked, the bank balance will be increased by 7.5 hours.

  6. Whether to display an alert when the balance becomes negative.

  7. Archive (If you do not use a bank and accumulated time leave.)

IMPORTANT: You cannot create multiple accumulated time banks.

If you have archived the accumulated time bank and need another one, you will need to reactivate the archived one by going to the Archived section and clicking on Restore.
