Consistent company login experience
With single sign-on (SSO), you use the same corporate sign-in process for Atlas that you use for other internal systems. You:
Log in with your normal company credentials.
See the familiar company login page.
This consistency reduces confusion and makes it easier to support users.
Use of existing security controls
Atlas relies on your organization's identity provider to verify who you are. During SSO login, you follow the same security rules your organization has already defined, such as:
Password complexity and rotation policies.
Mandatory multifactor authentication (MFA): for example, SMS or text codes or authenticator app prompts.
This means Atlas benefits directly from your existing security configuration, without needing separate, Atlas-specific rules.
Fewer passwords and less friction
Using SSO reduces the number of separate credentials you need to remember. In practice, this means:
One set of company credentials for multiple systems, including Atlas.
Less password reset overhead for users and IT teams.
Automatic sign-in when you're already authenticated
If you're already signed into your corporate account in the same browser session:
Choosing the SSO option can log you into Atlas automatically.
You may not need to re-enter your password or repeat MFA steps.
This speeds up access to Atlas and creates a smoother user experience.
Included as standard on eligible Atlas products
For eligible Atlas product sets:
SSO is included as a standard feature, not a paid add-on.
For new clients on those products, SSO is expected to be configured or provisioned by default during setup.
