How do I delete or deactivate a fixed terminal?

Logging out of or deleting a fixed terminal for Atlas Scheduling

Written by Charles Vallières

Before you begin:

  • If you logged into the time clock on your device in error, see the steps below for deactivating a fixed terminal.

  • If you no longer want a fixed terminal listed on your account, see the steps below for deleting a fixed terminal instead.

There are two ways to remove a fixed terminal: on the terminal itself or directly in your administrator account.

If you've accidentally enabled the time clock on your device and wish to get back to Atlas Scheduling, you want to deactivate the fixed terminal. Note: Activating a fixed terminal will log out other devices, and you may need to go back to the intended device and log back into it.

Alternatively, to remove the fixed terminal from your account, you want to delete it.

Important: Only a manager or administrator can deactivate or delete a fixed terminal.

Deactivating a fixed terminal

Deactivating a fixed terminal allows you to access your Atlas Scheduling account on this device.

If you opened a fixed terminal in error, and it was already open on another device, the other device will now be logged out. We recommend you log back into the device you want to be the fixed terminal, which will log your device out of the fixed terminal.

If you just want to log out of the fixed terminal, follow the steps below:

  1. Enter your PIN and click the pink checkmark to confirm.

  2. Click the Settings icon found on the top-right of the review page.

  3. Click Deactivate this time clock? and confirm.

Deleting a fixed terminal

  1. Select Attendance from the left navigation menu.

  2. Click the Fixed terminals tab.

  3. Click the action icon for the terminal you want to delete.

  4. Select Delete and confirm.
