Using SSO

The SSO login flow applies when:

  • Your organization has enabled SSO for Atlas

  • Your Atlas user is correctly linked to your company email/identity

If these conditions are not met, you might see different login options.

1. Login steps with SSO (web and mobile)

When SSO is available, the login flow works as follows:

  1. Open Atlas in a web browser or mobile app.

  2. On the login screen, enter your work email address.

  3. Depending on your organization's configuration:

    • If your organization does not enforce SSO, you may see several options and can choose “Continue with Single Sign On (SSO)”.

    • If your organization enforces SSO, or once you choose the SSO option, Atlas redirects you to your organization's login page.

  4. On your companies login page, sign in with your usual company credentials (for example, your company email/username and password).

  5. Complete any multi-factor authentication (MFA) steps required by your organization (for example, SMS/text codes or authenticator app prompts).

  6. After you authenticate successfully, you redirect back to Atlas and will then log you in automatically.

2. Automatic sign-in when already authenticated

If you are already signed in to your company account in the same browser session:

  • Selecting the SSO option can log you into Atlas automatically.

  • You may not need to re-enter your password or repeat MFA steps.

This behaviour depends on your organization's configuration and your current session state.

3. When you might not see the SSO option

You may not see the SSO option if:

  • Your organization has not set up SSO for Atlas

  • Your Atlas account is not linked to your company identity

  • You are using a different email address from your corporate email

In these cases, contact your IT team or Atlas administrator for help.
