How to send a message to all employees with the newsfeed. How to add an attachment to a message

The News Feed is a tool allowing you to publish various communications to your staff. News Feed threads can contain attachments like PDF, Photos, Spreadsheets that will remain available as long as you don't archive the thread or put an end date to it.

IMPORTANT: Only Administrators, Managers or Supervisors can create a thread on the News Feed.


Create a thread

  1. Click on News feed from the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Click on Create a thread.

  3. Give your thread a title, and choose your audience:

    • Choose by Location and position (All or select)

    • Choose specific employees

  4. Write your message and, if necessary, include any attachments and photos.

  5. Determine when you'd like the thread to be published, and whether it should have an end date.

  6. Determine in which category this publication should be classified (Select all that apply):

    1. Announcements

    2. Internal policies

    3. Training

  7. Select whether you wish to activate one of the following options:

    • Pin this thread, so it will always appear at the top of the thread list.

    • Allows employees to comment.

    • Requires confirmation. See this article for more details.

  8. Click Publish thread to post.


Quick actions

Once a thread is created, click on the Actions icon in the top right-hand corner of the thread to:

  • Edit the thread

  • Pin/Unpin the thread

  • Print/export the thread

  • View activity log

  • Archive the thread
