Sending messages

Messenger is a chat module within Atlas Scheduling on both the website and the mobile app.

The module lets you contact the members of your organization without having to rely on your personal networks. This ensures more effective and professional communications daily (website version shown below).

Using the messenger module

  • To start a new conversation, click the plus (+) icon at the top of your list of conversations (mobile app version shown):

  • Select one or more contacts from the list to add them to the the conversation:

  • Once it's created, type your message in the textbox to participate.

Adjust messaging settings

By default, the messenger module lets members of the same location communicate with one another. Administrators can adjust this setting by going to the Settings menu and selecting the Messenger submenu.

You can set the time limit users have to edit and delete the messages they send, allow users to communicate with all other employees of the organization despite their locations, or disable messages between employee-level users.

Important: All messenger conversations are irreversibly deleted if you deactivate the function.
