After exporting a budget report under the "Reports" tab, you may wish to change the currency used by default. This article explains how to change the currency of an Excel report on a temporary or permanent basis.

1. How to change the currency of an Excel report on temporary basis

Select the cells you want to format.

1- On the Home tab, in the Number group, click the Number Format launcher (small arrow in the bottom right corner of the Number group).

2- In the window that opens, under the Number category, click on "Currency".

3- Choose your currency via the "Symbol" drop-down menu

4- Save the change by pressing "OK".

2. How to change the currency of an Excel report permanently

If you wish to change the currency of your Excel report permanently, you'll need to modify your complete system settings via "System settings" - "General" - "Language and region" and select the region of your choice. The report will then always be exported in the currency corresponding to the selected region!
