You can create time off in the scheduler and the holiday planner as well as making time off requests for your employees.
You can also manage your employees' time off requests by following this guide.
Create time off entry in Schedule
Select the week/month for which you want to create time off in.
Locating the employee's line, click New shift as if you were creating a shift for them.
In the sidebar, select Time off from the left-hand icons.
If the time off is for more than one day, check the Multiple days option and select the dates.
Select the Time off type.
Confirm the days or hours to be recorded.
Confirm and modify the branch and position assigned to the leave if necessary
Press Create to confirm the details.
Creating a time off request for an employee
You can create requests for employees.
Select Time off from the left-hand navigation menu.
Click the Create button in the upper-right corner.
Select the employee yo wish to create. This will redirect you to a Create time off request for this employee.
If the time off is for more than one day, check the Multiple days option and select the dates.
Select the Time off type.
Enter a Request reason, if applicable.
Confirm the days or hours to be recorded.
Confirm and modify the branch and position assigned to the leave, if necessary.
Press Create to confirm the details.
IMPORTANT: If the employee was already scheduled for that period, you will have the option to manage the conflict by clicking on Manage.
Creating time off for an employee via the Vacation planner
Hover over Time off in the left-hand navigation menu, then select Vacation planner.
Select the Location from the Filters, and navigate to the correct month to create the Time off on.
On the employee line, click the + icon that appears when hovering over a date. You can also click and drag to select multiple consecutive dates.
Alternatively, click Create time off in the upper-right corner and select an employee from the list.
Confirm the date of the time off:
If the vacation is for multiple days, check the Multiple days option and select the dates
If the vacation is for part of the day only, uncheck the All day option and select the hours.
Select the Time off type.
Click on Publish to finalize, or Save draft to come back to this later.
