1- Save an existing schedule as a template

One way to create a template is to save a current week as a template.

To do this, first select the right week in the planner and, if necessary, filter the desired position(s) in the filters on the left.

  1. Click on the "Plus" button to the left of the "Publish" button;

  2. Click on "Schedule templates";

  3. Click on "Save week";

  4. Name your template;

5. Click on ''Create''.

2- Create a schedule template

To create a new schedule template from scratch, first go to the "Rota" tab in the main menu on the left, to access the scheduler.

If you wish to create the template for a specific position(s) and not all of them, simply select the position(s) in the position filters on the left.

  1. Press the "Plus" button to the left of the "Publish" button;

  2. Click on "Rota templates";

  3. Click on "Manage templates";

  4. Click on "Create a template";

5. Name your template;

6. Select the branch (if applicable).

7. Click on "Create''

Then create the schedule in the same way as you would in the scheduler.

Your template will be automatically saved, so you can simply click on the "x" in the top right corner to return to the scheduler.

3- Use Rota templates

Once you've created templates, you can use them to create your schedule in just a few clicks!

  1. Click on the "Plus" button to the left of the "Publish" button;

  2. Click on "Rota templates";

  3. Click on "Import to Rota";

  4. Select the template you wish to import;

  5. Check the desired option(s) under the ''Conflict management section''

  6. Click on "Apply template".

❗️Important : When you import a rota template, active filters will be taken into account

This means that if you filter the "cashier" position, for example, and try to import a complete template for all positions, only the shifts associated with the filtered position will be imported.

So be sure to adjust your filters according to the desired result before importing the template.

4- Manage existing templates

You can easily edit or duplicate your templates.

  1. Click on the "Plus" button, located to the left of the "Publish" button;

  2. Click on "Rota templates";

  3. Click on "Manage templates";

  4. Click on the three dots to the right of the desired template;

  5. Select an option from "Edit" "Duplicate" or ''Delete''.

5- Role restrictions

Managers can save a week as a template, modify a template and import it into the schedule.

Supervisors can only import a template into the schedule.
