How do I run a custom payroll export?

Changing the export of your timesheets to match your workflow

You can now use custom payroll export to adapt the export of your timesheets to your workflow!

Note: The account administrator must first ask the Citation client success team to activate this type of export for your organization.


Where can you find custom export?

To use and configure custom export, log into an administrator account and go to

Scheduling > Settings > Integrations > Custom export, then click the gear icon.


Configuration

To configure your custom export, you will need to:

  1. Enter your company number.

  2. Enter default earnings codes for regular and overtime hours.

  3. Training earnings codes and overtime training hours if there are any.

  4. The delimiter: a character that separates distinct pieces of data, such as a comma (,), semicolon (;), vertical bar (|), or colon (:).

  5. Add all the fields you want to export. The default value is used when the field you are exporting is empty. If you're exporting hours, you don't need to input a default value.

  6. Save by clicking Submit.


Mappings

Once the basic configuration has been entered, you need to input your codes for your time off types, as well as your positions and your premiums.

Finally, you need to add your employees' identification numbers here:


Export the payroll period

Once everything is set up correctly, you can choose the custom export when exporting the payroll period (Attendance tab).
